…also known as microfibre catcher!
Every time we wash clothes made from synthetic fabrics (polyester, acrylic, nylon, etc.), an alarming number of tiny fibres make their way from our washing machines into rivers and oceans. Once these microfibers are in the environment, they concentrate pervasive bacteria and pollutants.
That’s for the bad news. The good news is, there’s a way to prevent these microfibres from ending up where they shouldn’t, with the use of a Guppyfriend. It’s basically a washing bag that filters out microfibers, enabling us to properly dispose of them afterwards (=in a general rubbish bin).
